Zverev vs Kyrgios- Young Guns Blazing

With a combined age just a few years shy of Federer, tonights meeting in the 2017 Rogers Cup between Alexander Zverev and Kyrgios is potentially a look in to the future of the mens game.

Zverev has had an outstanding 2017, coming in to Montreal on the back of a 1000 Master series win in Washington, and in to the top ten. Australian Kyrgios is loaded with talent, posting wins over Federer, Nadal and Djokovic, but is a maverick, and rarely out of the limelight, many times for all the wrong reasons.

On the practice courts Kyrgios rarely seems to be taking life seriously, let alone tennis, with profanity, show boating and plenty of banter with the crowd. Zverev is a far calmer and more serious young man, well spoken in the post match Press Conference, but with a steely resolve.

Tonights match up promises a clash in both personality and playing style, but expect some fireworks, tweeners and shot making out of this world.
